OR Is This The New Peugeot 207?

Well, after looking around the internet for a few more pictures of the Peugeot 207 and discussing the topic over on the PGAC, it seems that there are a whole handful of different images claiming to show the peugeot 207! So no hard evidence to say what it's gonna look like just yet! But take a look at this site for some more pictures of the Pug!

Is This The New Pug 207?

Having a scout around the internet earlier on, i popped onto the AutoExpress website which had details about the new Peugeot 207. Naturally intrigued by this, i had a read, and it does sound quite interesting although they didnt have any pictures.

Reading through the information they had, it didn't look like solid information, just assumptions, but what i gathered from the article is that the 207 will be a "Conventional 5-seater". hmm... obviously, it will be using new technology on the chassis, giving it a more direct feel working on suspension etc. Engine wise, there will be petrol & diesel options on offer, ranging from the 1.1 petrol upto the 2.0 diesel! AutoExpress have also hinted on the fact that the higher end models will feature a new 1.6 Petrol engine co-developed alongside BMW!. That should be interesting?!. Possibly the same engine that will be going in the new Mini! We shall see!

The 207 will be available in 3 & 5dr models, SW Estate & a CC model should arrive at some point!

As i said, i couldnt find any images on the AutoExpress site, but i had a scout around and i found the picture above!.. Is this the new 207? We shall wait and see. It should be hitting our forcourts early next year (2006)

OK, it's not a peugeot, but... oh dear

Ooooh, what do we have here?... Spy shots of the new Renault Clio (© AUTOMEDIA). I was given the link to this over at MSN Cars so i thought i'd share them! They also have Spy Shots of the new VW Super mini (titled the 'Fox'), and the new Honda Civic, so have a look at MSN Cars for pictures of those!

I've got to give Renault their dues, i've always liked the look of the Clio... well most of them anyway! Especially the most recent ones! (Mk 4 i believe), with the striking & aggresive front and nippy engines!!.. However, it seems someone at Renault thought "Sod it, lets shrink down the megane and then build it"... The front reminds me of all the new Renaults, and i suppose renault have to keep their brand consistent!.. The side looks ok, but from the pictures i've seen of the back, it reminds me of a Ford Ka or the new Vauxhall Astra... hmmm

More 206 goodies!

Brand new Streetline Front bumper for the 206! Looks nice in some ways, but in others, i dont personally think it suits the 206! What do you reckon!?

Personally, i'd like to see a rear bumper & sideskirts to match this!... looking at it though, i think that front bumper would suit a wider arch kit!

Cant seem to find any info or prices for it though!... Or any other pictures for that matter!

New Intake for the 206

Having another look though the French Power website, i came accross this rather tasty looking Air intake for the 206!... certainly looks very very nice, and if i had a 206, this would definatly be on my shopping list! Check out French Power. This intake is currently retailing at around €110!

Just spotted these on the Peugeot Ecosse website, retailing at £59! Quoted from Peugeot Ecosse: These 206 vents are ideal if you want something a little more aggressive for the bonnet of your 206

Carline 206 Kit

Having a look around the world wide web (as you do), i came across, what looks like a German website called French Power. They have some nice bits & peices on there, but something caught my eye, and that was this Carline kit for the 206! Definatly something to think about if you have a 206, and looking for something fresh!

This is the rather tasty and agressive looking bodykit for the 206! Not sure about it's availability in the UK, but according to the website, the front & rear bumpers retail at around €299 each!!... The front bumper looks rather 'jap' with the gaping aggresive recess at the front, but with some decent mesh behind it, it will look wicked!

There is 1 front & 2 rear bumpers on offer and personally, i think they look very nice! The 1st variation of the rear bumper is the one on the left, with (again) a recess to mesh and gives you somewhere to put your exhaust(s)! The 2nd variation doesn't incorporate the exhausts very well, but despite that, i think it looks well nice!

Want your Peugeot featured?

Ok ok, it's not as if this is a big site... im not even sure if anyone visits it, however, if your reading this, it means at least one person (other than me) is reading it!.. yippee!!

So anyway, over the weekend, i thought i could put peoples peugeot's up onto this website!.. Sooo, if you've got a Peugeot, (standard or modded), why not email me the spec & some pictures, and e-mail me. I will then add it to this site! It will have it's own page, and the link will be on the right (over there >>>)!... I've already put my car up there, so take a look at that, and then email me your pug!!!
